Ghana and Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has paid for the surgery of Real Upper Ladies striker Afisatu Abubabakar who broke her collar bone on Saturday during the commencement of the Women Special Competition. Badu’s donation follows an appeal by the coach of Real Upper Ladies for support to enable the 19 year old striker to undergo a successful operation after breaking her clavicle. The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has apologised to the Parliamentary Select Committee for Sports and Culture over a leaked audio from their meeting on Wednesday. Clubs hold successful meeting with Parliamentary Select Committee for Sports

Ghana’s Parliamentary Select Committee for Sports and Culture met leadership of elite clubs in the country over their standoff with the Ghana FA Normalization Committee leading to a halt in the commencement of the Special Competition.
