Registration for new domestic season extended to January 13

Registration period for the 2019/20 domestic season has been extended to January 13th, 2020. The original date for closure of registration was 21st December but GFA in consultation with CAF have reached an agreement to extend the date. All Clubs (Premier, Division One and other tiers) are expected to complete their signings before this deadline. The new season is expected to kick off on the weekend of December 28.

Asante Kotoko to part ways with Martin Antwi

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to part ways with their forgotten midfielder Martin Antwi due to lack of playing time. The Premier League Clubs have nominated five members to the new Premier League Management Committee. Alhaji Braimah Akanbi, John Ansah, Francis Adjei Yeboah, Delali Senaya and Linda Ansong have all been nominated on the new Premier League Management Committee which will serve a one-year term. Lepowura MND Jawula and Mr. Jesse Agyapong were earlier named as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Premier League Management Committee respectively. Meanwhile the GFA will engage the Premier League Clubs towards an autonomous Premier League.
