Alex Asante heads newly established National Teams Department

The GFA as part of the ongoing restructuring of the Secretariat has appointed Mr Alex Asante as the Acting head of the newly established National Teams Department. Mr. Asante, who is a Deputy General Secretary at the GFA will work with Ex Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah and Michael Tawiah Attoh who have been appointed as a Coordinators for all National Teams. The Ghana Football Association has appointed a five-man National Team’s Review Committee chaired by vice President Mark Addo. Black Meteors midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has donated items to an Orphanage in Madina, Accra on Monday. The Red Bull Salzburg midfielder who is in the country for holidays went to Madina where he donated items including boxes of bottled water, assorted canned drinks,bags of rice, toiletries The former WAFA player was accompanied by friends to make the donations.
