Division One League side Techiman Eleven Wonders have directed Takyi Arhin to step aside from his duties as General Manager of the club until further notice. FootballMadeInGhana.com reported earlier that the vociferous administrator had been relieved off his duties by the club. Nkoranza Warriors have assigned Ayite Dormon as deputy coach of the club. The former Great Olympics and Accra Hearts of Oak player was the head coach of the Nkoranza-based club but he was asked to step aside three weeks ago following a string of poor results in their friendly games.   Techiman City FC forward Derrick Gyamfi has signed for fellow National Division One Zone 1 side Nkoranza Warriors. Gyamfi 18, moves to Warriors after two seasons at Techiman City where he was their key marksman. The budding attacker appended his signature to the two-year deal on Tuesday and he is expected to spearhead Frimpong Manso’s attack. The young striker netted six goals in the first round of the Ghana Premier League last season before it was suspended. He has previously featured for second division outfit Platini FC.

Alex Ackumey escapes death

  New Edubiase boss Alex Ackumey survived a serious accident on Wednesday March, 6, 2019 on the Accra-Tema Highway. The budding football administrator was returning from Assin Fosu where his side played a friendly game with a select side when the unfortunate incident occured. Ackumey and his driver were rushed to the 37 Military Hospital of which the Edubiase CEO was discharged the next day. His driver is however in critical condition.
