New Black Stars Boss, Milovan Rajevac has hinted at giving local players a chance in the Black Stars during his tenure as Head Coach.
The Serbian trainer was reappointed Black Stars for a second-time following the dismissal of CK Akonnor.
Milovan Rajevac, affectionately known as Milo, was given a two year contract and has been tasked with the mandate of winning the 2021 AFCON as well as qualify the team for the 2022 World Cup.
The Serbian was unveilled to the media earlier today and when quizzed as to whether local players will feature in his Black Stars setup, the serb confirmed performances from players on the local scene will be key in getting them into the side.
“Performances in the Ghana Premier League is what will get local players into the Black Stars team. I and my assistants will make sure we will closely follow the league.”- Milovan Rajevac told the media.
