General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association Prosper Harrison Addo has hinted very soon club’s will be force to hire License A coaches as their Assistant coach.
According to the Club licencing requirements, only CAF Licence “A” coaches can hold the position of head coach for Premier League clubs.
The GFA has since enforced the rules making a lot of coaches to lose their jobs in the process.
Speaking at the Northern Region edition of the GFA/ SWAG capacity building, the General Secretary hinted very soon only License A coaches will be allow to assist the coaches.
” We are looking to upgrade the requirements. Which will see only License A coaches will be allow to be assisting in the Ghana Premier League. Very soon we will get there.
” Very soon, there will be courses for License B, A, C and Pro to upgrade our coaches. But currently we have a lot of A coaches in the system.” He added.
