Division two side Benab FC shocked Premier League side King Faisal in a friendly encounter on Saturday.

The high flying Division two side defeated the Premier League side by a lone goal at the Paa Joe Park.

A first half strike by Osman Haruna Alhassan was enough to give Benab FC a historical win on the day.

It was King Faisal who started the game very well by dictating the pace of the game at the begining.

Kwadwo Frimpong came close on the half hour mark but his shot was saved by Daniel Dickson.

Frimpong Boateng also tested the goalkeeper with a powerful free Kick but the Impressive Dickson did well to save the danger.

Benab FC took a surprise lead against the run of play in the 44th minute, striker Osman Alhassan headed home a cross from new signing Lord Amoah to beat the helpless Jabal Adam.

King Faisal coach after the break changed the entire team and brought in a new set up.

Despite dominating the play in the second half , King Faisal failed to find the back of the net.

Awudu Mohammed had the best chance of the game on the 80th minute but was denied by the goal post.

The Division two side held on to maintained their lead till the blast of the final whistle.
