Elmina Sharks ended their three games winless run by beating Bechem United by 2-1 at the Nduom Park on matchday ten of the Ghana Premier League.
Goals from Tahir Musah and Ishmael Hammond’s gave was enough to give Sharks the maximum points, Moro Salifu got the consolation for the Bechem United.
There was not much action in the first half as both side’s kept it tight at the back.
After the recess, Eimina Sharks came all out searching for the opener, Justice Mensah’s header went wide.
Sharks pressure paid off on the 85th minute, Tahir Musah got the opener by finishing off a good team move.
The visitors were awarded a penalty on the 89th minute, skipper Moro Salifu converted from the spot to draw his side level.
With the game ending in a draw, Sharks were awarded a penalty in the stoppage time and Ishmael Hammond made no mistake by putting the ball at the back of the net to make it 2-1.
Sharks held on to their lead till the blast of the full-time whistle.
