The Accra Sports Stadium will witness one of the fiercest duels in the Division One League as Accra Lions host Phar Rangers in a battle that will determine who leads the Zone 3 League table.

Both teams are coming from an impressive performance this season, having won all their two previous games. Accra Lions had a good show against Accra City FC and Agbozume Weavers whiles their visitors beat both Krystal Palace and Nania FC. The game will be live on Facebook.

Elsewhere in Akim Oda, Kotoku Royals will be playing their first home game as they welcome whipping boys Agbozume Weavers to the Oda Park.

The host had a walk over against Amidaus Professionals in match day one whiles drawing 1-1 with Accra City FC on match day two.

Their visitors are on a redemption mission after losing heavily in their two previous matches; 3-0 to Nania FC and 4-0 at home to Accra Lions. Weavers need points to reshape their season. The game is scheduled for Sunday.

The Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday was supposed to host Tudu Mighty Jets coming up against Tema Youth but the game has been moved to Monday to be played at a different venue either than Tema.

The visitors are walking into the game as favorites having had some significant victories over their host in the past.

Tema Youth have amassed 4 points so far this season and seek to keep the pace at the top. Meanwhile, Tudu Mighty Jets are having 4 points of the season, having drawn against Uncle T and a walkover against Amidaus Professionals. The game will be live on Facebook.

Krystal Palace will return home on Sunday to the Akosombo Akotex Park when they welcome Uncle T United. The host had bounced on Vision FC to pick its first point of the season after a hard fought 2-2 drawn game.

They will seek to continue from that massive performance against a side that lost their previous game 1-0 at home to Heart of Lion. Both teams are struggling to get their season in a good shape.

On Saturday, the Nii Amoah Park will see home team Nania FC playing Vision FC.

The battle of the Accra teams will be electrifying considering the losing margin recorded by the host when they visited Phar Rangers, after recording a similar 3-0 score line in their match Day One against Weavers, the expectations were high but they failed.

Nania will seek to cast a dent on their visitors who are so far having an inconsistent season. A loss and a draw by Vision FC in their two previous games will inspire them against Nania. The pitch will surely bear witness to the struggle. The game will be live on Facebook.

Elsewhere in Zimmerman Presby Park, Danbort FC will lock horns with Accra City FC. Arguably one of the strongest teams this season, Danbort will seek for the 3 maximum points against a side noted for their dexterity and free scoring form.

It promises to be interesting since both teams know each other so well. Danbort has 4 points whiles Accra City have 1.

Finally, Kpando Heart of Lions will be at their hunting grounds; The Den – to welcome Accra Young Wise into a fierce battle. The home side is unbeaten this season and has amassed 6 points on the road.

The last time Young Wise visited the Kpando Park, they left without the 3-maximum point. Young Wise have 3 points so far after 2 matches.

Amidaus Professionals take on Planners Athletic Club at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday. It remains to be seen if the host will honor this game after failing to show up for their two previous games.
