The Phobians entered the game needing a win following their 1-1 away draw at Elmina Sharks last weekend. In Eleven Wonders they faced a tough opponent who came into the game on the back of an emphatic victory over Karela United in the last game.

Hearts have been unbeaten at home so far under Papic, winning all their games. This rich vein of form injected some verve into their game as they started the better side.

In-form midfielder Abdul Umar Manaf opened the scoring for them inside 11 minutes. The midfielder made the perfect connection from close range to get the better of the Eleven Wonders defense and goalkeeper.

Hearts with their first half lead strolled into the break with the advantage.

Back from the break, the home side continued where they left off and would register another goal, this time around from attacker Victor Aidoo.

The former Samartex Fc attacker produced a grounder that beat the Eleven Wonder goalie to his right.

With the result at 2-0, it looked mission impossible for eleven Wonders who failed to lead any serious charge on Hearts’ defense line.

As Hearts sealed the 2-0 win after the blast of the referee’s whistle finally, the Phobians climbed to 4th on the table with 15 points amassed so far.

Eleven Wonders drop to 12th on the standings following the result and will eye a bounce back in their next game.
