Inter Allies goalkeeper Gideon Ahenkorah returned to face his former team Berekum Chelsea as the Cepelli lost narrowly (1-0) on Sunday.

After the match, he was present for the post match conference and shared his thoughts on what transpired in the game.

Gideon on his assessment of the game:

I’m disappointed with the result, last season we had the upper hand here so we came into this match for another record or repeat what we did here last season. But I feel so sad that we could not pick the maximum points or even a draw in this game.

He speaks on the team’s inability to score more goals:

Our attackers are young and upcoming strikers who have been promoted from the youth team so they are still in the learning process of getting better, and they’ll be better soon.

He speaks on the performance of his counterpart:

The kid was fantastic, after the game I spoke with Chelsea’s president about him. The boy is so amazing and pulled two-three brilliant saves, we could not get at least a point here because of him.
