Hearts of Oak have been handed a major boost following the return of Kojo Obeng Jnr to training on Wednesday.

The striker has been sidelined since picking up groin injury while in action for the Phobians against King Faisal on Matchday 6.

An injury that ruled him out of their last two fixtures against Bechem United and Elmina Sharks.

Obeng has stepped up his recovery after having a personal session with the team’s physical trainer today.

He is currently being observed by the technical and medical team to know how soon he will be ready.

Despite this latest development, the attacker is expected to play no part in their upcoming league game against Eleven Wonders.

The match against Berekum Chelsea on January 23rd is seen as a realistic return date for the player.
