The General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Lawyer Prosper Harrison Addo has vowed to visit betting companies in Ghana with fire and brimstones if they continue to illegally load betting offers on the local premier league on their websites.

According to him, its become a common practice that some betting companies offer markets on the Ghana Premier League on the platforms without the necessary licensing or authorization by the Ghana Football Association.

The FA’s General secretary revealed that as owner of all marketing, commercial and all rights associated with the GPL, betting companies need to seek approval from the GFA before placing odds on matches.
