Joseph Esso and Issah Ibrahim were on the scoresheet as Dreams FC beat Medeama SC 2-1 on Sunday.

The enthralling match day 2 encounter was played at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

The home side took an early lead courtesy of a well taken strike from inside the box by Joseph Esso.

The former Hearts of Oak marksman who joined the Still Believe lads ahead of the ongoing campaign has now opened his scoring account for his new team.

The visitors clawed their way back into the game in the 72nd minute through super sub Kwadwo Asamoah.

The former Dreams FC attacker made an instant impact after scoring with his first touch to draw the Mauve and Yellows level.

However there was still time for late drama as Dreams fc won themselves a penalty with less than five minutes to the final whistle.

Ibrahim Issah stepped up and converted expertly to give Coach Winfred Dormon’s side their first win of the season.
