King Faisal forward Kwame Peprah has weighed-in on the absence of his striking partner Osman Ibrahim ahead of the 2020/2021 season.
Ibrahim has returned to his parents club Asante Kotoko following the expiration of hia loan deal.
The partnership of Ibrahim Osman and Peprah produced 11 goals for King Faisal last season, with Ibrahim scoring 8 of the goals.
His absence has been widely reported as a massive blow for the club as they are yet to get his replacement.
But in an interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com, Peprah admitted he will miss his partnership with Ibrahim but the club has to move on.
” Yes, last season we played together and scored many goals together. But we have no option than to move on without Ibrahim. The rest of the players are ready to step up.
Peprah who started twelve games with Ibrahim Osman last season says he wants to score more goals in the upcoming season and if possible win the golden boots.
“Last season I scored only three goals in the league and five in all competitions. But I want to improve on that. I want to be among the topscorers and if possible win the golden boot,” he added.
