Young Ghanaian full back Benson Anang is set to be handed a starting role in his maiden appearance for the Black Stars when the team face-off against Qatar this afternoon.

Ghana play their second game in three days as Coach Charles Akonnor seeks an improved performance in the dull display against Mali on Friday.

The Black Stars were handed a painful 3-0 defeat and Akonnor has promised changes coming into this afternoon’s encounter with the Asian champions.

Anang, one of the 7 debutantes invited to camp, will slot in at right back, in place of Tarique Fosu who started the first game as per reports from Turkey .

The 20 year old who plays for MSK Zilina will expect to dazzle in the role and make a case for himself for future assignments.

Ghana vs Qatar will take place at the Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey with kick-off slated for 3:30 PM GMT.
