Ahead of Ghana’s friendly encounter with Mali on Friday, midfielder Thomas Partey has stated that Black Stars has a lot of quality players and those invited for the game are the most fortunate.
The midfielder, who is the deputy captain of the team arrived at the Turkish camp Wednesday and took part in the team’s training session.
Speaking to Ghanafa.org, Partey expressed his delight to train with the team once again after almost a year without international football.
“I am very happy; we have a lot of quality players in the team. There are so many Ghanaian players out there who are good but not all of us can be here,” Partey told GFA media.
He added: “Fortunately, we are here because we won the heart of the coach. And I think it’s a good place to show what we have.”
Partey’s arrival at the Black Stars delayed because of his deadline day transfer to Arsenal, worth 50 million euros.
