Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Nettey is confident his side will be ready for the upcoming season following the lifting of the ban on contact sports in Ghana.
The Phobians started gym work some few weeks ago and are set to intensify their preseason preparations in the coming days.
“We were very exited to return, the date for the start of the new season has been set. we are in the third week of training and it has been good so far. We are getting into shape gradually and I’m sure before the league starts we should be ready” Nettey said in an interview with FootballMadeInGhana.
The 2020-2021 Ghana Premier League season will commence in November following the decision of the Ghana government to give the green light for football to resume in the country.
The 2019-20 season was cancelled following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic when the campaign in the topflight was less than halfway through the season.
