Asante Kotoko right-back Christopher-Nettey

Asante Kotoko’s attempts to keep hold of hugely talented defender Christopher Nettey is likely not to see the day of light as Tunisian giants Esperance Sportive de Tunis consider a big money move for his services.

Narteh, spent the 2019-20 season (which was eventually cancelled because of the CoronaVirus ) at the Porcupine Warriors as part of a deal with his right holders Attram De Visser Academy.

The 22 year old impressed in his right back role much to the admiration of the Kotoko fans prompting the club’s top brass to sign him permanently.

However the Porcupine Warriors failed to nail the deal after failing to pay the requested fee of $35,000 to fully own him.

According to online portal myfabulousonline.com, African football giant Esperance are eyeing a mouthwatering $200,000 deal for the player.

The portal goes further by stating some clubs in Belgium, Portugal and the MLS in USA.

Nettey who has no contract with Kotoko will be free to join any of his suitors provides talks prove successful.

Should Nettey join Esperance he will become the third player to play for Kotoko and the Tunisian clubz; following in the steps of Harrison Afful and Kwame Bonsu.
