Ghanaian striker John Antwi has been given a befitting recognition by his side Pyramids FC for his outstanding record in the Egyptian top-flight.

Antwi is the highest scoring foreigner in the history of the Egyptian Premier League after netting 102 goals while playing for 4 clubs. He has played in Egypt since 2013; suffice to mention that he had a brief spell with Saudi side Al Shabab.

The 28 year old Takoradi-born, started life in Egypt with Ismaily FC and has also had stints with Al Ahly, Misr El Makasa and now at the money rich Pyramids FC in .

Antwi’s goal record sees him tower above other foreign based players both past and present to have played in the country’s top-flight.
