Ghana U23 striker Joel Fameyeh was on target for FC Orenburg in their 3-0 home victory against Shinnik Yaroslavl on Wednesday in the Russian FNL league.

The 23 year old forward scored in the 38th minute of the match to double his side’s lead.

Nikolay Prudnikov earlier gave Orenburg the lead on the 28th minute with a fine strike.

Ziga Skoflek scored the third and final goal to ensure victory was sealed in style.

The former Asokwa Deportivo’s striker played 83 minutes before he was withdrawn.

The goal is his second in the FNL league and his third in nine matches across all competitions so far in the season for FC Orenburg.

FC Orenburg sit on the summit of the league table after 8 league matches with 22 points.
