Kurt Okraku won the GFA presidency race after 3 rounds of elections

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E.S. Okraku says Ghana Football should be seen as the ultimate winner irrespective of the decision that will be taken by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) on the landmark case between the GFA and Wilfred Osei Kwaku.

Osei Kwaku is at CAS seeking reliefs in relation to his disqualification from the GFA Presidential race.

He was barred from contesting in the elections after being found culpable of having integrity issues by the GFA’s Normalisation Committee.

The Swiss based Sports Court after hearing from the parties to the case will make their decision public on Tuesday August 4, 2020.

Osei Palmer is seeking to clear his name, nullify the election results and organize fresh elections; a decision that could throw the leadership of Ghana Football in jeopardy.

As the football fraternity eagerly anticipates what lies ahead, Kurt Okraku has said, football stakeholders must see to it that whatever decision comes out is for the ultimate good of the game.

He made this known in an interview with Max FM.
