The Ghana Football Association has congratulated young Arsenal striker Eddie Nketsiah as he helped the Gunners win a reciord extending English FA Cup on Saturday.
Nketiah came on in the 82nd minute to help his side maintain their 2-1 advantage in the all-London affair between Arsenal and Chelsea at the New Wembley stadium.
Chelsea started the game the brighter side and took an early deserving lead courtesy a striker from American, Christian Pulisic.
Arsenal later restored parity from the spot after captain Aubameyang was brought down by Chelsea skipper, Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Gabonese forward stepped up to take it and converted nicely, displacing Chelsea goalie Willie Caballero.
With scores even at the break, Aubemayang will put his side ahead with a classy finish after exhibiting unmatched composure and skill.
Eddie Nketiah was given some game time after he replaced French striker Alexandre Lacazette as the Gunners were then having a man’s advantage following the dismissal of Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic.
After the game and amid the wild celebrations across board, the Ghana FA extended a complimentary message to Nketiah, who they have been trying tonconvince to play for Ghana at senior level.
Born in England to Ghanaian parents, Eddie Nketiah has represented the various age limit English sides and is yet to feature for the senior side; the Three Lions.
He is also eligible to play for Ghana and the GFA will hope they can convince the youngster to choose the Black Stars over England.
