King Faisal midfielder Frimpong Boateng (Ofa Anane) says the club will replace ‘fantastic’ Ibrahim Osman after the player returned to his mother club Asante Kotoko.
The Kumasi based club confirmed Ibrahim Osman has returned to Asante Kotoko after a season loan spell with them.
Osman scored 10 goals and made 4 assist in 15 games for the club in the 2019/2020 season which was cancelled due to the coronovirus pandemic.
Asked if the Insha Allah boys will find a perfect replacement for the former Asokwa Deportivo player, Boateng answered.
“Why not, we are going to find someone better than him. He is a fantastic player so as who are still there.” Boateng told Kasapreko FM.
” I believe in the team. Those players who were assisting him will step up and take over the mantle. I’m sure we are not going to miss him. We wish him well.”
Boateng featured in 12 games for King Faisal before the season was truncated, asked how he will rate his performance.
” I think it was good. I always want to give out my best whenever I’m on the pitch. My target is give my best and get a contract outside the country”.
