Teenager Mathew Anim Cudjoe has called on the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo to lift the ban on football as he has missed the game.

Football and other contact sports are still on hold since mid-March following the outbreak of the Coronovirus.

On Sunday, July 26, 2020 President of the Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo lifted restrictions on two female national teams – the Black Maidens and Black Princess – to start training in preparations for international assignments in September.

As a result, the Ghana Premier League, and other competitions under the Ghana FA as well as all other contact games were announced to remain suspended.

But Cudjoe who ended his 6 months loan with Asante kotoko took to twitter to plead with the government to lift the ban on football to allow him enjoy the game.

I want to smell the grass again, get the feel of the ball on my boots. I plead with the President to lift the ban on Sports.
