A delegation from Hearts of Oak commiserated with former player Mahatma Otoo during his late mother’s funeral on Saturday.

Otoo’s mother, Love Habibatu Ankrah passed on in March 2020 after a short illness.

Her burial was set for this weekend and during the final funeral rites, Hearts of Oak sent a delegation to mourn with their former player.

Among the Hearts delegation comprised Communications Director Opare Addo.

Hearts posted on their Twitter page “A delegation from Hearts of Oak today attended the final funeral rites ceremony of the late mother of our former captain, Mahatma Otoo.

Mahatma Otoo played for 117 games for Hearts of Oak scoring 57 goals from 2009-2013.
