Most sought-after AshantiGold SC midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila has revealed his desire to join Ghanaian giant Asante Kotoko but stresses certain conditions need to be satisfied before such a move materializes.
Anabila, undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the game currently is a transfer target of the Porcupine Warriors with a section of fans even eager to finance a deal for the 23 year old.
The player has all but confirmed that the links to Kotoko are concrete but says he is at the moment engaged in contract renewal talks with the Miners. According to him, a move to Asante Kotoko will materialize only if it is sanctioned by his current club.
“I am still a player of Ashgold and still on contract renewal negotiations but you can never say never in football,” he disclosed in an interview with Kumasi based Foxx FM.
“I can play for Kotoko if only Ashgold decides to let me leave”.
“I appreciate the recommendations from the supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, it is a motivation to me”.
