Legon Cities goalkeeper Fatau Dauda says he is eager to return to national duties following a long absence from the Black Stars since the 2014 World Cup.
Dauda made his entry into the Black Stars setup in 2008 and became a mainstay in the team from 2012-13 thereof.
His time in the national colors has seen him represent at AFCON tournaments and he also featured in two matches (against Germany and Portugal) during Ghana’s ill-fated World Cup 2014 adventure.
Despite being overlooked by coaches in recent times, the experienced shotstopper says he is relentlessly pursuing a return to the Black Stars.
“There are a lot of players in the queue who want to play for the national team so I am still active”
“If they invite me to come and play for the black stars why not I will welcome the invitation because I am still active and playing, “he said.
