Head Coach of Ghana Premier League side, Accra Hearts of Oak Edward Nii Odoom has bemoaned how the outbreak of the novel Corona-Virus has affected his team’s momentum.
According to the Hearts of Oak coach, the outbreak of the disease came at the time his team was picking up in the season.
” The pandemic has really worried us [Hearts of Oak]. We were picking up in the premier league, we returned to the winning ways and all of a sudden there was the outbreak of the pandemic in the country so we have to stop the league,” he told happy FM Sports.
Odoom also revealed personally the pandemic has affected him due to what he had planned to do with the club.
“Personally, the pandemic has worried me than any other person because joining Heart of Oak as the head coach, I had my own agenda and was about to do greater things with the team.”
The Ghana Premier League has been suspended since March as part of the measures to stop the spread of the novel Corona-virus.
