Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad is relishing the return of the Ghana Premier League which has been suspended by the Ghana FA.

Football activities have been suspended indefinitely since March following the outbreak of Coronovirus in the county.

The Ghana FA have been in deliberations with major stakeholders on how football can resume with a decision expected to be made on June 30th.

Danlad Ibrahim who is playing on loan from Kumasi Asante kotoko thinks football should return soon but with strict adherence to health protocols.

“I think it is not a bad idea for football to return,” he told Kickgh.com

“However, I believe that all the players will go through mandatory test to prevent mayhem,”

“Football is our work and ones the authorities signal that we should play, we will have no choice.”

The former U-17 goalkeeper kept eight clean sheets out of 14 games for Berekum Chelsea before the premiership was suspended.
