Chief Executive Officer for Legon Cities FC  Mr. Terry Maxwell Aidam has revealed that the club is considering moving their home matches away from the Accra Sports Stadium, eyeing the Legon Park as a possible destination.

Legon Cities have struggled to overcome their opponents at the Accra Sports Stadium winning only three home games in the suspended league.

In a virtual meeting with the fans of the club on twitter, the CEO disclosed that the club is in talk with the authorities of the University of Ghana in order to move their home games away from the Accra Sports Stadium.

“We have started engaging the authorities at the Premier University and we are hopeful of a positive response from them.

“We believe that such a facility would help us grow our fan base and also align ourselves with the institution as the name of the club has a connection with the school,” he said.

Mr. Terry ended by assuring the fans of the club that new signings of several top players will be announced when the football season makes a return from the Covid-19 break.
