Former head coach of the Atlas Lions of Morocco and AFCON-winner with Zambia and Ivory Coast Herve Renard has named 6 Ghanaians in his all-time Africa XI.
The former Black Stars assistant coach named Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew in his list among other top African stars.
The France international was assistant to Claude Le Roy during the 2008 African Cup of Nations tournament. Ghana managed to claim the bronze medal.
Afterwards, he led Zambia to a shocking AFCON title in 2012 and repeated that feat with Ivory Coast three years later, beating Ghana in the final on penalties.
In an interview with TV3 journalist Juliet Bawuah, he listed Richard Kingson, John Mensah, Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Andre Ayew and Asamoah Gyan.
Jordan Ayew got a place on the bench of his team.
