Ibrahim Mohammed, brand new coach of Division One League side Bofoakwa Tano FC, has spoken to the media for the first time since his appointment.

The experienced manager revealed the club’s rich history and passionate fan base played a key role in his decision to join the Sunyani-based outfit.

He thanked management of the club for the opportunity and vowed to ensure Bofoakwa returns to the Ghanaian top flight division.

“This is a great club with a rich history and a very passionate fan base. There is a clear vision from the management to deliver success and ultimately qualification. That is something that appeals to me as the Head Coach and I am thrilled at the prospect of being able to work with everybody at the Club to help make that vision a reality” He said during a press conference held at the club’s secretariat this morning.

“ I observe the Bofo’s team when I played against them in the league and I must admit I’m happy to work with players like Fuseini, Abuu, Appau , Nana Appia Kubi among others”

Bofoakwa Tano FC currently sit 4th on the division one league (zone one) table with 24 points and are 6 points behind table toppers BA United.
