Mubarak Alhassan has finally broken his silence on what influenced his departure from WAFA to Liberty Professionals after just a season.
According to reports, Mubarak was sacked from the Sogakope based club due to gross indiscipline, before transferring to the Scientific Soccer Lads.
But reacting on the issue for the first time, Mubarak explained he left the Academy Boys because his current employers offered him a too good to refuse deal and not because he was sacked by the club.
” When I was leaving Corner Babies to WAFA, I was told several clubs were chasing for my signature. But I decided to choose WAFA. Because they will help me to develop as a footballer.
“But after one season there, I had offer from Liberty Professionals which I think was very good. So I decided to move to Liberty.
” I’m one of the most discipline players you will find in this country. It’s never true I was sacked at WAFA. You can ask all the coaches I have passed through them” he added.
The attacking midfielder is in the form of his life scoring 5 goals in 12 games for the Dansom based club.
