The Upper East Regional Football Association have absorbed the officiating fees of the Regional Division Two League.

The Vice Chairman of the Upper East Regional Football Association Abel Asoogo made this known to all the second division clubs CEOs in a meeting yesterday.

The officiating fees for the 2019/2020 season was pegged at Ghc1000 per club thus bringing the total to GHC24,000.

The 2019/2020 Upper East Regional Division Two League will start this weekend (21st March, 2020) across the various league centers with 24 teams competing for the sole ticket to represent the region in next season National Division One League.

The RFA absorbing the officiating fees, will be a huge relief to many of the teams with many of them expressing their appreciation to the leadership of the RFA led by Salifu Zida.

Chief Executive Officer of Bolga Soccer Stars, Fred Agongo says he is extremely happy of hearing the news and thanked the RFA for such a laudable help.

Meanwhile, the Vice Chairman of the RFA added that, the Communication department of the RFA will stream some of the division two league matches live via the RFA Official Facebook Page, UpperEastRFA.
