Sparta Prague striker Benjamin Tetteh has shared his thoughts on his disallowed goal in their 1-1 stalemate against Slavia Prague on Sunday.

The 22 year old opened the scoring for his side in the 80th minute before Petar Musa scored for Slavia late in stoppage time to ensure both teams shared the spoils in a keenly contested derby.

However, Tetteh believes he should have had a goal earlier in the match, after he found the net but was denied a goal by VAR for an apparent foul in the build up.

“I think personally I didn’t feel like I fouled him but the referee used the VAR and he’s the center man so if he decides it’s an infringement then that’s fine but personally I think it wasn’t a foul” he told reporters after the match.

The Ghanaian has made 21 appearances and scored five goals for Sparta Prague in the Czech top flight this season.
