Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew has moved level with Anthony ‘Yegoala’ Yeboah as the highest scoring Ghanaians in the English Premier League history.

Ayew’s winning strike for Crystal Palace against Watford on Saturday pushed him to 24 goals on the list of top scoring Ghanaians in the English top flight.

This sees him equal the legendary Tony Yeboah, who attained this feat in 2 prolific seasons for Leeds United between 1994 and 1996.

Yeboah scored 24 times for Leeds United in 47 premier league games while Ayew has achieved this feat while representing 3 English sides and playing 128 games.

Ayew netted 7 times for Aston Villa, 8 times for Swansea and now has 9 for Crystal Palace.

Jordan Ayew’s older brother Andre, follows in at number 3 on the list with 21 goals.

Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien comes next with 17 goals while Asamoah Gyan wraps up the Top 5 with 10 goals.
