Head Coach of Karela United, Enos Adepah has adamantly claimed that Asante Kotoko were fortunate to get a win over his side during their Premier League Match Week 13 face-off on Friday.
An early goal from former Karela United striker William Opoku Mensah broke the heart of the home team as they eventually lost 1-0 to the Porcupine Warriors.
Speaking in the pitch side post-game interview Adepah bemoaned his side’s inability to get something out of the game. He blamed a defensive mishap for the goal his side conceded which proved decisive in the encounter.
“It’s a painful defeat to us (Karela United), we didn’t deserve to lose this match, but a petty defensive blunder in the first half caused the first goal. Kotoko’s best should have been a draw and not a victory because we played better than them” Adepah lamented.
