Injured Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu could play a part for Asante Kotoko in the second round after taking another step in his recovery.
The midfielder has started ball working for the first time since he underwent a successful surgery in Germany in July last year.
He is currently at the final part of his recovery where he is concentrating on strengthening his muscles.
Senanu will then be strong enough to join his teammates in his full training once his muscles have been strengthened and he has attained the required body strength and endurance level.
He is expected to join his teammates in full training by the end of the month.
Senanu suffered a knee injury during the team’s campaign in the CAF Confederations Cup game against Zesco United last year and has since been unable to feature for the Reds.
