Black Maidens Coach Baba Nuhu names squad for Liberia assignment

Head Coach of Ghana’s female U-17 side Baba Nuhu has released a list of 18 players who will make the trip to Monrovia for a FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Liberia.

Among the selected players is the current top scorer in the ongoing Ghana Women’s Premier League, Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah of Ampem Darkoa ladies.

Police Ladies’ winger, Grace Animah and Bassira Alhassan of Pearl Pia ladies who were part of the last Black Maidens squad are also included.

The game is scheduled to kick-off on Sunday March 1 with the Black Maidens contingent expected to leave Ghana on Friday.
