Liberty Professionals attacking midfielder Mubarak Alhassan has been named as FootballMadeinGhana’s player of the Week after Match Week 10 of this season’s Ghana Premier League.
Mubarak was chosen as a result of his splendid performance for Liberty in their 5-2 hammering of Aduana Stars.
The former WAFA midfielder had in hand in three of the goals his side scored on the day; Mubarak scored twice and assisted one as the Scientific Soccer Lads cruised to a comfortable victory.
He was eventually named the NASCO man of the match after the game.
Mubarak was greeted with opposition from Victorien Adebayor, Elvis Kyei Baffour and Yahaya Mohammed, but was chosen for his brace and assist as an attacking midfielder.
The panel agreed Mubarak Alhassan should emerge FMIG Player of the Week Award ahead of close contenders.
