Head coach of Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu has lamented over his side’s defeat to Medeama SC in the match day four of the Ghana Premier League.
According to the coach, the early penalty conceded by his side plus the red card affected his team play.
Medeama SC took away the three points following Prince Opoku Agyemang 2nd minute penalty.
“The red and penalty did affect our game plan, it was a difficult game, but I think we did very well especially in the second half.
“Even after the goal, we kept push hard , we even hit the poles.
“The players did their best and I think we can still make corrections so as to win our subsequent games.” He told the media after the game
Maxwell Konadu also talked about the penalty his side conceded.
“You can’t tell a player how to do things on the pitch , these things come naturally.
“But, we as a club has taken it in good fate, we will only go back and work on it.
“The penalty was a 50 50 decision, but the referee awarded it which I don’t have qualms with that , but in my opinion it was a minor touch.”He added
