Ghanaian music act Kwesi Arthur is the latest artiste to be used in the bid to revive the love for the local game following an announcement that he will be performing during the MatchWeek 4 encounter between Legon Cities FC and AshantiGold SC.

The ‘Grind Day’ hitmaker will be thrilling fans at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday with this being the second in what seems a series of arrangements to get top involved in their matchday programs.

The club has employed several creative ways to draw attention to their campaign and used Ghana’s Dancehall act, Shatta Wale, in their first home game against Asante Kotoko.

The club has also announced that the gates will be opened freely for female fans who show up to watch the game.

Kwesi Arthur’s engagement is expected to set the tone for Legon Cities FC as they go in search of their first league win against table-toppers AshGold SC.

The match will be played under floodlights on Wednesday at 7:00 pm and will be live on TV.
