This season’s version of Ghana’s prestigious Cup competition, the MTN FA CUP will be officially launched at the GFA Secretariat today, January 14 at 11 am GMT.

There will also be a draw event for the preliminary round of the competition which will involve all 48 Division One League clubs as well as the qualified clubs from the respective regional Division 2 leagues.

The 2019-20 MTN FA Cup is scheduled to commence on the weekend of January 24-27, 2020 at centers across the country.

The launch event will also provide the opportunity for the competition’s organizing committee to make public some innovations to draw families, friends and football enthusiasts who will journey to the various stadia for the matches.

Asante Kotoko is the reigning FA Cup champion and will not get involved until after the preliminary round has been exhausted.
