Two teams still with a point to prove so far,  lock horns in what promises to be a game of equals perhaps.

Karela United will welcome Inter Allies in a Match Week 3 premier league encounter at the Tarkwa, Akoon Park.

The home side will be hunting for their first win of the season. Once a formidable force at their original home ground (CAM Park, Nzema) Karela United lost their opening game at their makeshift home venue (Tarkwa Akoon Park) to WAFA before securing an away point in their second game against Elmina Sharks.

With a former league winner Enos Adepa as their head coach,  expect things to improve for the side.

They will certainly set their sights on the maximum points when Inter Allies come to town this Sunday.

The away side injected some life into their season by recording their first win of the campaign against Bechem United at home. On the road, they have barely impressed and Coach Tony Lokko will be expecting an improvement from their last away game (4-0 defeat to Aduana Stars).

Inter Allies will be without Richmond Lamptey and Kingsley Braye who both miss out due to injury.

Coach Tony Lokko is expected to keep faith with the same matchday squad in their last game with star attacker Victorien Adebayor featuring prominently.

Karela United are expected to go with the same squadlist as in their previous encounter at Elmina.

Technically this will be their first ever league meeting. They however faced each other once in the league   with Karela edging that home fixture 2-1. However that season was truncated with official records wiped from the books of the GFA.

The two however faced each other twice in the NC Special Competition.

Karela won the home fixture 3-1 and secured a 2-2 draw away.

Karela is therefore hoping to maintain their unbeaten run against Inter Allies going into this fixture.
