The Referees Integrity Seminar by the Ghana Football Association has started with over 200 match officials taking part.
The special exercise is for for referees who have been selected to officiate in the upcoming 2019/20 league season.
The four-day seminar started today – December 10 and will end on December 13 at the Pentecost Convention Centre near Kasoa.
Over 200 referees and assistant referees are attending the seminar, which will be led by renowned retired Mauritius referee Lim Kee Chong, who is Vice Chairman of the Referees Committee of CAF, who is also a member of FIFA’s Referees Committee.
The seminar is part of the GFA’s efforts to ensure that referees selected to officiate in the upcoming season uphold integrity and other tenets of refereeing.
Two other top CAF and FIFA referees instructors joined Lim Kin Chong for the exercise and will be joined by 15 CAF instructors from Ghana for the exercise.
Vice President of the Ghana Football Association Mark Addo visited the team at their base at the Pentecost Convention Center on the Kasoa road.
