Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko winger Ollenu Ashitey is on trials at Aduana Stars as he inches closer to a deal with the Ogya Boys.

The pacy attacker has been club-less since parting ways with the Porcupine Warriors in 2018.

But the player who has struggled to match his potential since bursting on the local seen is determined to revive his career with the Ogya boys.

Ashitey was handed a starting place in Aduana Stars’ friendly against lower tier side Doumbe Stars as he is being monitored by the technical team.

Should he impress the club, there is a possibility he might be handed a permanent contract before the start of the league.

Aduana Stars are preparing for the start of the Ghana Premier League which has been scheduled to start on December 28.
