Inter Allies to play their home games at Accra Sports Stadium

Premier League side Inter Allies have adopted the Accra Sports Stadium as its home venue for the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season. The club recently hosted a scouting tournament for players at the Accra Sports Stadium which also influenced management decision to change venue and adopt the Accra Sports Stadium. Management also cited the poor nature of the Tema Sports Stadium influenced the club’s decision to change the venue. Asante Kotoko skipper Felix Annan could be doubtful for the start of the season after picking an injury in training. The shot stopper sustained an ankle injury during training and is likely to be out for sometime. The Ghana Football Association has appointed Human Resource consultant Madam Hilary Boateng as the Chairperson of the Women’s Premier League Committee. Registration for new domestic season extended to January 13

Registration period for the 2019/20 domestic season has been extended to January 13th, 2020. The original date for closure of registration was 21st December but GFA in consultation with CAF have reached an agreement to extend the date. All Clubs (Premier, Division One and other tiers) are expected to complete their signings before this deadline. The new season is expected to kick off on the weekend of December 28.
