Black Stars newboy Christopher Antwi-Adjei raring to go against São Tomé

The Paderborn SC attacker was one of the surprise call ups for this month’s 2021 AFCON qualifiers double header.

However, he was not named in the matchday squad for the 2-0 win over the Bafana Bafana last Thursday due to his late arrival.

The 25 year old is line to make his international debut for Ghana this afternoon, when they play São Tomé in their second game.

‘It will be a dream come true. I really can’t wait to start for Ghana against Sao Tome on Monday,” Antwi-Adjei told footballmadeinghana.

”I couldn’t play against South Africa in the opening game because of issues with my passport but I really can’t wait to see myself playing for Ghana.”

The pacy winger has been named on the bench for this afternoon’s clash at the less than 1000 capacity Sao Tome National Stadium.
