The #BringBackTheLove campaign by the Ghana Football Association to ignite the love Ghanaians for all the national teams will hit Winneba and Mankessim on Tuesday as the Black Stars fraternize with fans on their way to Cape Coast.
The team will move base from Accra on Tuesday morning to Cape Coast where they will lock horns with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Thursday.
Kwasi Appiah’s side will make stop-overs in Mankessim and Winneba to fraternize with the people, take photos and ignite their passion ahead of the game.
In a statement released by the GFA, the team will make stop-overs at Winneba and Mankessim to fraternize with the fans and ignite the #BrngBackTheLove call for the game.
“Tuesday November 12, 2019 The Black Stars departs for Cape Coast and will make brief stop-overs at Winneba and Mankessim, where they will interact with fans and distribute paraphernalia to them,” the statement read.
This will be the first time the team will be embarking on such a wonderful venture as the new leadership of the Ghana FA look to re-ignite the love for the national team in Ghanaians.
The #BringBackTheLove campaign caught fire on social media and the team will be hitting the inhabitants of Mankessim and Winneba to amplify the campaign.
Ghana will be clashing with their South African counterparts in the opening group clash of the 2021 AFCON Qualifier at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday.
